Ahh... Spring!

Today was so gorgeous! A wonderful 67*. Unfortunately I worked most the day at a clients but did get home in time to mow the lawn for the first time this spring! I'm very excited that some of the plants that normally don't make through a winter here did this year. Although I'm hoping for a cold winter next year! There's going to be bugs galore this Spring/Summer. :(   Maybe the end of next week I can get some peas and lettuce seeds planted.

This evening has been a weird one in ways that I can't really explain here but it has led my thoughts to Dave. And as a result tonight has NOT been a productive night for working. Grr! Things just get weirder and weirder. I'm very thankful that tomorrow is Sunday!

Grape Hyacinth poking out from under the bleeding heart.

Bleeding Hearts are in full bloom!

The first tulip that's not white!

It's a white bloom time of year in this section of the yard!

A wider view of my 'white section'

A nice patch of daffodils

I love these daffodils

Yay! I thought I'd lost all these Penstemon so excited one is still left! I think this is a purple one.

It's hard to tell but this is one I didn't expect to make it! It's a pineapple sage and smells
very yummy! Right at the base there is green poking through. Yay!! :)

Chives are doing quite well!!

Lots of blooms on the Honey berry plants!

  1. Aleta, don't know when I talked with you last, but my dad died a year and a half ago, and my mom died a month ago, so I also have to figure out how to dissolve a trust.
Your yard is beautiful! I'm glad things are going fairly well for you!
